In this course, students will read and translate news articles while comparing language and culture to identify Korean and Chinese linguistic features. Learning the differences between both languages and cultures is the most important element of translation. This course will focus on the relations between language and culture and students will learn these differences by translating Korean news articles into Chinese. Students will be able to translate phrases and expressions used commonly day to day with ease.
