With a board and balanced curriculum, students of Diploma Programme in Community Care (DCC) will demonstrate competency for both employment and further study.

Career Prospects

 
The DCC Programme offers industry-focused courses covering theoretical and operational knowledge in community care. Graduates could develop their career in the profession upon successful completion of DCC. Furthermore, they can be registered as Health Worker in Residential Care Homes with the Social Welfare Department if they attain specific requirements, thus being eligible to join the workforce with professional recognition.
 

Articulation

 
Graduates of the DCC Programme will be well-equipped with solid language, communication and nursing skills for sub-degrees study in the areas of health care, social work or related disciplines. They will be eligible to progress to CUSCS Higher Diploma (HD) Programmes or choose to further study in other institutions.
 
Articulation Scholarship is awarded to full-time Diploma graduates who commence the Programme in the academic year of 2024-25 and successfully complete it in one academic year with outstanding academic performance. They will be eligible for the Scholarship at the amount of HK$5,000 for progressing to the CUSCS Higher Diploma Programmes.
