The world's ESG issues have become more mainstream especially towards the post-pandemic era. In Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Securities and Futures Commission are facilitating the city to a leading role in green and sustainable finance (GSF) and help the transition of the financial ecosystem towards carbon neutrality. New financing and investment opportunities can be expected.
Following the overwhelming success of the ESG Forum held in the summer of 2022 and the launch of the signature course, “ESG series: Sustainable Banking and Finance”, the School of Continuing and Professional Studies of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUSCS) will collaborate with the International Chamber of Sustainable Development (ICSD) again to present another online forum on the topic of “ESG Series: Global Sustainable Finance & Insurance Outlook - 2023 and Beyond”. Speakers at the Forum will share their insights on the emerging development in global sustainable finance through evaluating the opportunities and challenges of sustainable banking, insurance and investment.
The Chinese University of Hong Kong, of which the School is a member, has set for itself concrete sustainable development targets in alignment with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). CUSCS joins hands with advocates of sustainable development and stakeholders of the industry to present to you this online forum.
At the Forum, industry leaders will share with you:
