Handling of Uncollected Graduate Certificates

Graduates of Full-time Diploma, Higher Diploma and Part-time Award-bearing Programmes

 

Starting from 2026, CUSCS will arrange to dispose of uncollected graduate certificates after seven years of students’ graduation. A one-time exercise is arranged for collection and disposal of uncollected graduate certificates from 1 April to 31 December 2026 for graduates of Full-time Diploma, Higher Diploma and Part-time Award-bearing Programmes of 2017-18 and before. Any uncollected certificates of graduates of 2017-18 and before will be securely disposed of after 31 December 2026.

 

Graduates may collect their certificates according to the information below. 

 

(1)    Collection of certificate in person or by authorization
Graduates may collect the certificate in person or by authorization at the time specified below. Graduates are required to present their original HKID card (not scanned copy on mobile device) in collecting the certificates. Graduates may also authorize another person to collect on their behalf by completing the “Letter of Authorization” and present the relevant identification documents.

(2)    Important information
The graduate certificate is an important document. Please keep it in a safe place after collection. We regret that any certificates uncollected for SEVEN years from the award year will be disposed of without further notification.

 

A one-time arrangement is made for graduates of 2017-18 and before to collect their certificates on or before 31 December 2026. If these graduates do not collect their certificate by the end of 2026, the uncollected certificates will be securely disposed of. In such case, graduates may apply for a replacement copy following the protocol, if necessary.
