The major objectives of the Higher Diploma Programme in Applied Chinese Language are to:

	equip students with Modern Chinese knowledge at post-secondary level;
	enhance students' language and communication skills;
	enable students to master a relatively high level of Putonghua.

Upon completion of the Programme, participants will be able to master a relatively high level of Putonghua and professional knowledge in communication. They will be better equipped for further education and / or work.
