Mode of Delivery
This is a taught programme. A variety of learning formats will be used to create the interactive dynamics of students, to stimulate their analytical thinking and expression of opinions, and to encourage free exchange of ideas.
The delivery modes include: lectures, group discussions, presentations, role plays, case studies, demonstrations, and study visits to various recreation and leisure facilities and venues.
Medium of Instruction
Depending on the nature of each module, English, Putonghua and Cantonese will be used as the medium of instruction. Learning materials will be in English and Chinese as deemed appropriate.
Assessment Methods
Students' performance is monitored and assessed on a continuous basis through class participation, assignments, project and final examinations.
Award of Higher Diploma
To qualify for the award of Higher Diploma in Recreation and Leisure Management, a participant must:
(a) have an attendance rate of at least 70% for each module; and
(b) pass the assessment of each module.

Admission Requirements
The 3-year Programme
The applicant should :
have 5 passes in HKCEE, including Chinese Language (Level 2 / Grade E or above), English Language (Level 2 / Grade E or above) and Mathematics (Grade E or above); or equivalent qualification.
The 2-year Programme
The applicant should fulfill either one of the following:
have 5 passes (Grade E or above) in HKCEE including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications; and have completed Secondary Seven or equivalent qualifications; or
have a relevant and recognised Diploma / Higher Certificate.
Mature Applicants at the age of 21 or above who do not meet the above minimum admission requirements but with a demonstrated capacity to pursue the programme are eligible to apply for admission. Applicants may be required to attend an interview.
