General Information 


Mode of Delivery
The programme will mainly be conducted in the form of lectures and tutorials. A variety of learning formats will be used to facilitate the interactive dynamics of students, to stimulate their analytical thinking and to encourage the free exchange of ideas. These include group discussions, presentations, and case studies.

Medium of Instruction
Teaching activities will be conducted in English, Cantonese and Putonghua as deemed appropriate. Learning materials will be in English and Chinese as deemed appropriate.

Assessment Methods
Performance of students is monitored and assessed on a continuous basis using a variety of methods, such as assignments, class participation, projects, and final examinations.

Admission Requirements

The 3-year programme
The applicant should:
A minimum of 5 passes in HKCEE, including Chinese Language (Level 2 / Grade E or above), English Language (Level 2 / Grade E or above) and Mathematics (Grade E or above); or equivalent.

The 2-year programme
The applicants should fulfill either one of the following:
have 5 passes (Grade E or above) in HKCEE including Chinese Language, English Language, and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications, and have completed Secondary Seven, or equivalent qualifications.
have a relevant recognised Diploma / Higher Certificate.

Mature applicants at the age of 21 who do not meet the minimum admission requirements specified above but who have demonstrated capacities to pursue the programme are eligible to apply for admission. Interviews will be arranged if deemed appropriate.

Professional Accreditation
Graduates are eligible for partial exemptions from the Accredited Technicians Examination of the Hong Kong Institute of Accredited Accounting Technicians (HKIAAT).
