Admission Requirements
The admission requirements are different for each programme. For details, please refer to individual programmes.
Online Enrolment Procedures
Step 1:
Click here to access a blank enrolment form. You may also click on Online Enrolment on the programme information pages to access a blank enrolment form.
Step 2:
Complete the enrolment form and make sure to fill in the required information marked with *. You may choose to:

Click on Submit to send your online application to SCS.
If your form has been completed correctly you will see a confirmation page. You are advised to print a copy of the confirmation page for future reference. The enrolment fee of $200 (payable by credit card only for online enrolment) will be deducted on the next working day. Online applicants will then receive an email to confirm payment of the enrolment fee. SCS staff will contact applicants in due course. |

Save your form for later editing.
Access saved form by clicking on View Saved Forms. You will be required to enter your reference no. and authorisation no., as provided to you in the confirmation page, and the first 6 digits of HKID. You may submit the completed online enrolment form anytime before the enrolment deadline. Once submitted, you may still access and view the saved enrolment form by clicking on View Saved Forms, but you will not be able to edit it. If you wish to make any further changes to the information provided in the form, you should do so by fax, post or email, quoting your reference no. and authorisation no. at all times. |
Step 3:
Click on Online Enrolment Status Checking to check the status of your application. Note that this service is only available to applicants who have used the online enrolment service and have, therefore, been issued a reference no. and authorisation no. You will be required to enter your reference no. and authorisation no. to access the status checking page.
Applicants will be given one of the following six statuses:

Processing: Your application has been received and is being processed by our staff. We will contact you in due course. |

Interview Arranged: An interview has been scheduled. |
|
Insufficient Information: You will be / have been requested to provide additional supporting information. |
|
Reject: Your application was unsuccessful. |
|
Offer: Your application was successful and an official offer letter has been sent to you. Please allow a few days for mail delivery. |
|
Offer Accepted: You have accepted our offer. Congratulations! You have successfully enrolled on our programme. |
General Enrolment Procedures
Step 1:
Obtain enrolment forms from our Enrolment Centres, website or via fax at 2367-2593 / 3110-0611.
Step 2:
Complete the Enrolment Form for Higher Diploma Programmes and ensure that you return it together with supporting documents and payment by hand to one of the Enrolment Centres or by post to the Registry, School of Continuing and Professional Studies, CUHK, Inter-University Hall, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shatin, N.T. before the closing date.
* An application will be processed only upon receipt of the completed enrolment form, supporting documents and payment.
Step 3:
Receipts will be issued to students enrolled, but SCS will not be responsible for any loss of receipt sent by mail. Students will be required to pay an administrative charge of HK$50 upon request to SCS to issue a copy of the receipt.
* If you do not receive the payment receipt three days prior to the course commencement date, please check with the Enrolment Section at 2209-0290 or respective programme staff.

Cheques or bank drafts should be made payable to "The Chinese University of Hong Kong", crossed, and sent or delivered in person with the enrolment form to SCS during office hours or by post to the Registry, School of Continuing and Professional Studies, CUHK, Inter-University Hall, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shatin, N.T.

Please write your name, HKID card no. and programme name(s) on the back of each cheque. This will ensure the speedy return of cheques in the event that programmes are full or cancelled.

If cheques are rejected by the bank, students will be required to pay the course fee and an administrative charge of HK$50 within three working days upon receipt of notification from SCS. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the enrolment.

The enrolment form should include the card holder's name, card number and expiry date. It should be sent or delivered in person to the School.

If the card payment is rejected by the bank, the student will be required to pay the course fee and an administrative charge of HK$50 within three working days upon receipt of notification from SCS. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the enrolment.

Award of Diploma
To qualify for the award of Higher Diploma at the School of Continuing and Professional Studies, a student must have completed the required modules and have passed the assessment, and have an attendance rate of at least 70% for each module.

3-year Programme: HK$37,500 - 45,500 each year
2-year Programme: HK$40,500 - 49,500 each year
Refund Policy
Fees paid are not refundable, except in the event of a programme being fully enrolled or cancelled. Furthermore, fees paid are not refundable regardless of whether students have attended classes or not.
Course Changes
SCS reserves the right to make alterations regarding instructors, class locations, class schedules and the content of courses from time to time. SCS also reserves the right to cancel a programme if enrolment is insufficient.
Personal Data Collection Statement
The personal data provided on enrolment forms are used by SCS staff only for purposes related to the processing of enrolment or mailing programme-related information. Personal Data Amendment Forms are downloadable at the School's website or obtainable via fax at 2367-2593 / 3110-0611.
