Mode of Delivery
The Programme will be delivered mainly by face-to-face instruction. A variety of learning formats will also be used to stimulate dynamic interaction between students.

Medium of Instruction
Teaching activities will be conducted in English, Cantonese and Putonghua as deemed appropriate. Learning materials will be in English and Chinese as deemed appropriate.

Assessment Methods
Performance of students is monitored and assessed on a continuous basis using a variety of assessment tools, such as projects, classroom participation, assignments and final examination.

Admission Requirements
The 3-year programme
The applicant should have:
a minimum of 5 passes in HKCEE*, or equivalent qualification.

The 2-year programme
The applicant should fulfill either one of the followings:
Completion of Secondary 7 plus the entry requirement of the 3-year full time Higher Diploma Programme in Fashion Design & Product Development, or equivalent qualification. or
A relevant and recognized Diploma / Higher Certificate. Applicants who have taken modules / courses mapped correspondingly to this programme's modules can apply for credit exemption.

Mature applicants at the age of 21 or above who do not meet the minimum admission requirements specified above but who possess demonstrated abilities to pursue the programme are eligible to apply for admission.

Each applicant is required to submit a portfolio (if any) and attend an interview. Acceptance will be subject to the decision of the selection committee.

*Applicant who does not obtain 5 passes in HKCEE but who has good results in respective subjects (e.g. Art, Ceramics, Design and Technology, Fashion and Clothing etc.) and a portfolio demonstrating creative ability and aptitude for art and design is eligible to apply for admission.
