Since its inception in 1965, the School has developed a strong tradition in areas such as art and design. Education in the creative arts can promote learners' artistic lives and spirits, and widen their imaginations.
Recently, the government called for the development of a creative industry in Hong Kong. The Creative Academy provides a wide range of courses in this area, including design, photography, creative media, film, drama, art, music and dance. Some of these are general short courses and others are award-bearing programmes. For example, we offer a series of full-time Higher Diploma programmes in areas such as Commercial Design, Fashion Design and Business, Multimedia and Creative Advertising, Digital Animation and Creative Media, and Computer Game Development.
We also offer part-time programmes for working adults, such as the Professional Diploma Programme in Filmmaking, Diploma Programme in Creative Advertising in Multimedia and Professional Diploma Programme in Creative Illustration. All of our courses are beneficial to learners in their work, study, personal development and life cultivation.
