Welcome to CUSCS on the Web!

It is my great honour to become a member of the CUSCS family. I will continue the flourishing development of the School, on the basis of CUHK's mission and CUSCS' 47 years of tradition and excellence.

2012-13 academic year is a challenging one to the School. Our new campus, located at Tseung Kwan O, will be in full operation this September; and our new tailored 2-year higher diploma programmes will be launched in response to the implementation of "334" academic structure. We will turn these challenges into rewarding learning experiences for our students.

Since its establishment in 1965, CUSCS has been a pioneer in promoting lifelong learning and providing professional and quality continuing education in Hong Kong. Committed to our motto of "Professional Education, Rich in Humanities", the School endeavors to develop a wide range of award-bearing programmes and general courses to meet different learning needs of the community – creative arts programmes aiming to nurture professionals for the creative industries; liberal arts programmes targeting to those who want to develop a quality life in its full dimension; business & management programmes equipping top-notch executives and professionals for the public and private sectors; professional development programmes focusing on corporate training and preparatory courses for public examinations; and advanced development programmes offering another learning opportunities to third agers for their life enrichment. In the years ahead, we will continue to respond to the changing learning needs in Hong Kong and the Mainland through provision of quality continuing education.

Since 2002, CUSCS has been offering higher diploma programmes to secondary school leavers and providing them an alternative pathway to pursue higher education and professional development. Being a constituent part of CUHK, we share the same mission -- providing whole person education. We therefore put equal emphasis on nurturing students' academic excellence as well as personal growth and encourage them to learn outside the classroom including participation in local & international competitions and overseas exchange, internship & placement programmes etc.
