Griffith Business School

The Program
This degree equips you with professional leadership and business management skills combined with specialist knowledge of the event management industry. This degree will also assist you to apply business management knowledge to deal with the current challenges faced by professionals working in tourism, hospitality, sport and event management and similar organizations.
Award
The degree will be awarded by Griffith University and will have equal status to those awarded by the university to resident graduates.
HKCAAVQ Accreditation
This program has been accredited by Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) as locally accredited top-up degree program to reach HKQF Level 5, which is equivalent to the standing of bachelor’s degrees offered by local universities in Hong Kong.

Grants and Loans
Full-time students aged 30 or below can apply for Government means-tested grant and low interest loan under the Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP) if they comply with the Scheme’s requirements. For details, please refer to http://www.sfaa.gov.hk/eng/index.htm.
Employment
The degree qualification is formally recognized by the Government for employment purposes within the Civil Service including the attainment of Qualifications Register at QF Level 5 for graduate posts.
Academic Staff
All lectures are taught by the
academic staff of Griffith University and supplemented with tutorials conducted by local tutors.
Medium of Instruction
All lectures and tutorials are conducted in English. All student assessments, both written and oral, are in English.

Students are required to study 4 courses in each semester. The Program can normally be completed within 12 months of full-time study.
Scholarship
Griffith scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit during the first part of the Program. Students can also eligible to apply for Government scholarships reserved for full-time locally accredited self-financed programs.
Financial Assistance
Full-time students aged 30 or below can apply for Government means-tested grant and low interest loan under the Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP) if they comply with the Scheme’s requirements. For details, please refer to

Overseas Exchange Opportunity
Qualified students have the opportunity to join the "Study Abroad Program" and study at Griffith's various campuses in Australia during the last semester.

The application form* should be submitted with the following:
1. A non-refundable application fee of HK$200 by crossed cheque or bank draft made payable to 'The Chinese University of Hong Kong';
2. A Hong Kong identity card or relevant identification document;
3. Certificates and transcripts of all relevant academic qualifications, e.g. AD, HD, HKAL, HKCEE, IELTS, etc;
4. Proof of recent English Language proficiency;
